Most questions are answered in the setup guide — especially the ones about the screen turning off, locking the iPad to one app, and leaving it plugged in.

Common ones

The board is empty

Add your family from the iPhone app — children, chores, dinners. Then add your calendar accounts to the iPad itself, per step 1 of the setup guide.

My calendar events aren't showing

Two things to check. The account has to be added on the iPad, not just on your phone. And iPadOS refreshes Google, Outlook and subscribed calendars on its own schedule, so a brand-new event can take a few minutes to appear.

The screen keeps sleeping

Auto-Lock must be Never, and if you're using Guided Access its own Display Auto-Lock must be Never too. Both are in the guide.

I've paid but the full board isn't showing

Open the app on your phone, go to Family, and choose Restore purchases. Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with.

How do I cancel?

Settings → your name → Subscriptions, on any of your devices. The board keeps working as a clock and today's events, and nothing you've set up is deleted.
